It's All About It

Having it gives you security
Abusing it makes you dangerous
Walking alone with someone who has it is great
but it becomes uncomfortable when they start reminding you
that they've got it but you don't
Some people use it impulsively to relieve stress
but some people end up using it compulsively,destructively
Our government was formed to make sure
that the government would never take it away
but in modern times the government is constantly taking it away
and they use what they take irresponsibly
In the end
the person who has the most of it
is the one with the most say
What it is, well don't you know?
It can be one or the other
Both called happiness and every man's right
The devil's right hand and the root of all evil
The tools of society and megalomania
Which are known to corrupt and inspire fear
And are sought and oft collected
They both fit the shoe
For all of power in life comes
From a wad of cash or a smoking gun
