Yeah, the effect is supposed to be a mushroom cloud caused by the likes of a nuclear bomb or whatever humans have invented by this point that can cause such devastation.

I suppose the title is mostly supposed to express that the dropping of the nukes is the beginning of what we would call our modern age, where energy is spent like there's no end to it and technology has further perfected the destruction and reconstruction of human lives. In my opinion, of course. The beginning of an age is really quite subjective.

I see... well I love the way it's interpreted. You really capture the ghastly effects that will come when we as a human race screw something up in the future.
